Children's Dance Classes with Margaret Morris Movement

 

Every Monday 

4.00pm-5.00pm  £3.00 per session

 

A series of classes designed to develop creativity and wellbeing. Dance exercises created to develop agility, balance, co-ordination, elevation, flexibility and posture. Explore your creative dance and improvisation skills and develop an understanding of rhythm. We will explore the theme of Flora and Fauna. With dance teacher Sara Lockwood. Please wear loose clothing. (Age 8-12 years)

 

Saturday Art Club

 

2nd Saturday of every month

10.00am - 12.00noon

£4.00

 

These two-hour workshops are run by professional artists and teachers, and offer expert tuition and hands-on experience across a range of fun filled visual arts and crafts activities.  The classes take place on the second Saturday of every month. Advance booking is recommended to avoid disappointment and do wear old clothes as things can get messy. (ages 5-12)

Volunteer Landmark Reached

 

Volunteer Co-ordinator Wendy Leach, the lady responsible for ensuring we have the required number of personel for each and every event held at the CatStrand and records the number of hours each volunteer has given to the organisation has just announced that so far in 2011 over 2000 hours has now been generously donated.
