Sporting House Strings, originally Tommy Burton’s rhythm section (and much more) has established a big following on the British jazz scene over the years. The band, with Martin joining Spats and Richard, has re-introduced some of Tommy Burton’s piano programme. The trio has tremendous musicality with a presentation that’s as scintillating and entertaining as ever. Created in 2001, the band are constantly reaching enthusiastic wider audiences and attending major festivals and venues across the U.K. and Europe.
