DIVERSIFICATION;

It’s amazing the different uses there are for a Community Mini Bus, and I am sure you can all think of many more. Having a second vehicle gives us so much more flexibility and in recent months Dalry School have used a bus for educational trips involving overnight camping, whilst a local user group organised transport for a wedding – the larger bus  was beautifully decorated and appreciated by all – a further booking involving a wedding has already been made!

Please remember the vehicles are NOT available for public hire and reward but if you register a ‘user group’ you can use a vehicle when you wish in line with the conditions of use  –for further details please speak to Keith, and if you do  wish to book a vehicle please book early to avoid disappointment – we are getting very busy !

Main features of GTI;

  • A daily school run is operated on behalf of the local Council to Kells School.
  • A bus service is operated EVERY Wednesday evening from Dalry to Castle Douglas (Tesco) and return on behalf of the Council - Service GK2 in the D & G timetable.
  • A trip to Newton Stewart every Tuesday during term time coincides with Senior Swimming.
  • Regular trips are arranged by GTI - for information about these or any matters concerning the bus please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it at the Catstrand.
