Getting involved

The Glenkens Gazette is published by the Glenkens Community & Arts Trust every two months and is mainly put together with contributions from local community groups (such as the schools, scouts and cubs, police, fire service, and community councils) as well as individuals. Between 1000 and 1500 copies of the Gazette are produced each edition, depending on the time of year (more are produced in the summer to cope with the demand from visitors). The community survey which GCAT carried out in 2004 found that over 86% of respondents read the Gazette, with 62.3% reading every issue. If you would like find out more about the Gazette, please contact the Gazette Co-ordinator, Sarah Ade on 01644 420374.
