Tai Chi

Focusing on the health aspect of Tai Chi, not the martial arts aspect. It is sensible to wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring a bottle of water.

Fitness Training Class
Every Monday 7.30pm - 8.30pm
Increase your strength, stamina and flexibility at our fitness/circuit training class. Circuits will include: press-ups; sit-ups; skipping; step-ups; lunges; star jumps and sprints, followed by a cool down and stretching session. Instructor: Harry Fenton.
Price: £4.00 / £3.00 concessions.

Healthy Eating - Healthy Living
Paula Cochrane, Community Worker, Age Concern Scotland, is in partnership with Liz Cole, Community Project Worker, The CatStrand, and together they are hoping to establish a working group of younger and older people to devise a simple cookery book of healthy recipes. There will be a nutritionist and an organic cook on the working group. This project will run weekly for six weeks in April and May from 4-5pm.
