From Neverland to the Scottish glens, from society drawing-rooms to couthy firesides, Barrie is the master storyteller. But beneath the fantasies, social satire and humour, there is an enigma. The lad from Kirriemuir, the great playwright who, elected as Rector of St. Andrew's University, delivered his famous speech on ‘Courage.'
Splinters evoke the genius of Barrie in this magical four-hander. Devised by Donald Smith and the Company: John Shedden, Anna Hepburn, Finlay McLean, Kara Johnston.

Tale-Blazers
Storytelling Training Course (Advanced)
Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 October
10.00am - 4.00pm each day
A two day training course devoted to advanced storytelling technique. Those who have already participated in the beginners Tale-Blazer training course as well as anyone with storytelling experience are invited to participate. The cost for the weekend is £20.00. The course will be run by professional storytellers Tony Bonning and Anne Errington with support from other professionals.

The Sportinghouse Strings

The Sportinghouse Strings are a trio of jazz musicians, formed in 2001 as a musical tribute to their leader,Tommy Burton. They comprise Thomas ‘Spats' Langham, Martin Litton and Richard Vernon. Thomas ‘Spats' Langham, whose Lang and Grosz style guitar playing complements his magnificent and unique Harry Reser style virtuoso tenor banjo performances, is joined by pianist, Martin Litton, whose early career included periods with Harry Gold and Kenny Ball. Richard Vernon provides bass accompaniment to complete the trio.

Locked In is a powerful hip hop drama by multi-award winning writer, Fin Kennedy.
On the 20th floor of an abandoned East End tower block, Blaze (a Caribbean MC) and Tariq (a Bengali DJ) rip up the airwaves on a leading pirate station. Their last CD was a massive hit and they're all set to hit the big time with their first live set at Exile FM's birthday bash coming up. Then Zahida comes into their lives and cracks begin to appear in their friendship. When a local gangster asks Blaze for a serious favour, suddenly there's a choice to be made that could split their world wide open.
